Hi,

Just a quick question, I just removed my interior door release handle and was surprised it was held on by a chromed self tapper. Is this right?

Not exactly - it should not be a self-tapper, but a chrome domed head fine threaded screw with a flat bottom to it. That is sufficient as there is only up and down movement to cope with, unless people use it to pull the door shut, rather than the combined door pull/armrest G.

Thanks for that, Glen, Do you know the thread? UNF or BA?

The post it fits on is split. Is this correct, or is that a fault?
