Hi I am looking for a series Rapier.
I have looked on car and classic and classic cars for sale websites and have seen a few nice looking cars for sale ranging in price from £6000 to £12000 but unfortunately they all seem to be in the south.
I am based in Sheffield.
So my question is does anyone know any of these cars?
Are they known to the club and can anyone give me an unbiased opinion on any of them before I arrange to go and view them.
I am particularly interested in the 2 owners from new series 3 at £11950
Thanks in anticipation
Andy

Hello Andy.

I sent you an email through this forum. Did you receive it?

Tony.

Hi Andy,

I am a little late with my reaction, but if you want to go for investigating one of the Rapiers you have mentioned then don't go for the Rapier Series 5 with the colours grey/red as shown in Classic cars for sale. This car is not what it seems to be when reading the advertisement. The conditon of this Rapier is something between conditon 2 and 1 and certainly not as described in the advertisement "She's not concours but certainly not far off". That line is a very big lie as I have found out after spending 320 Euros at a flight from Amsterdam to Heathrow. If you want more details, then feel free to send me an email and then I can fill you in with the horrorstory regarding this car.

Regards,

Peter
