Thanks, Dan |

Posted - 15 Jan 2014 : 19:50:49 That's spooky Our smart repairer guy was in at work (he painted my air box) He loaned me some piaggio swatches I matched the colour up last night and came up wth ARANCIO STORM 816 Or MANGO 806
Although my air box may not be an exact match for an original it's pretty close and looks very good Pity I have k&n"s on !
sometimes nothing can be a real cool hand |

By the way, were the original parts actually just coloured in the gelcoat (they are fibreglass, right?) |

Posted - 13 Jan 2014 : 13:32:48 Right, I've just been in to the local paint suppliers and looked at the orange swatch cards. They have several that are very close but I settled on Piaggio 926 Arancio. So you can decide yourself you can see it on the website linked below (third row down);

You should be able to get any decent auto paint supplier to mix some for you.
Hope that helps.

Posted - 12 Jan 2014 : 12:57:02 I would say Firecracker Orange (151) is closer than Wardance Red (156).  |

Posted - 12 Jan 2014 : 10:41:00 It always looked to be the same colour as my old Fastback, which was Wardance Red code 156. Probably not officially the same - but it looked it.
