Hi All
I know the Ch No. is on the aluminium plate on the body near the rad but is it etched anywhere else like somewhere on the frame? It's a UK market Rapier

Yes, two types of plate depending on if early (Ryton) or late (Linwood)built, although early Linwood had same plate as Ryton.
Engine No. should match chassis no., but likely a lot of cars will have had replacement by now. Only on later cars - post '74ish did they start stamping chassis no. on o/s/f top strut mount.
