A problem with the Hunter GLS, it is very hard to start!

the starter and coil are new as is the distributor, an electronic unit sold by Simonbbc.

The car runs fine when warm and the fuel pump is ok.

Hi Glen,

Lots of cranking before it fires I think, I will get a more detailed description next time I speak with them.

Hi there D! When you say hard to start: is it that it doesn't fire, keeps churning? or it catches but doesn't run? or sluggish? A bit more to go on and we might be able to offer up a diagnosis Cheers, G

a shot in the dark - Perhaps the starter is drawing too much current and robbing the ignition of sufficient spark - an indication of this would be that it would start at times as the key is left and the starter disengages.
