Hi everyone , im having an issue with my fast back overdrive not always disengaging . Ive checked the switch , it is supplying 12 v to engage and disengage but the relay dosent always click ... And the twelve volt supply remains to the sol . Removing the wire disengages it the over drive . Are relays available ? Or is there an alternative ? Thanks for any help

Hi , yep i drained and filled the gearbox/ od with fresh 20w 50 engine oil . I fitted an aux switch between the trans and the sol as an experiment ... The od disengages immediately with the power cut ... .

Hi.
Have you checked oil level in the box? Whilst your symptoms are not exactly what I've experienced in the past, however if the oil level is a little low it can manifest as an apparent problems with the solenoid or relay. Might be nothing of the sort, but it is an easy remedy if that is what is causing it . Cheers. G.
