Hi all,
Speedo has just failed on the above.I've removed the speedo head and the cable (complete) and find that the gearbox end has broken off about 25mm from the end and the square drive is twisted, the outer cable is 1380mm long.I have checked on Alpine West Mids site and their cable for Series cars is 1676mm.If I buy the longer one is it likely to present any problems with fitting, routing and overall suitability?
The drive in the speedo head has rounded off and there has clearly been an issue with the cable 'binding'in some way.Luckily I have a spare head.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Regards
John
