Hello all.

I caught the 'Rootes' bug back in the 1980s bug when I was 17. I bought a 1946 Hillman Minx to restore and a couple of years later I bought a '73 fastback Rapier to drive whilst I restored the Minx.
As you might expect things didn't go according to plan. I drove the Rapier to and from work for 18 years and the Minx still isn't finished (but nearly, it should be in the paint shop in a couple of weeks).
A long the way the Rapier gained a Holbay 'Marathon' engine, lowered suspension, lots of new metal, new parts and I'm pretty sure there isn't a nut, bolt or screw on the car that hasn't been off and on at least once.

I recently 'inherited' a 1968 Rapier - I'm hoping to have this one the road in a year or two...

Derek

Hi All,

I have activated the 'picture in post' option.

Click on the 'Insert Image' button and add the link between the img tags.

The forum doesn't have an upload picture facility but you can use a hyperlink to display the picture.

eg using the link from the above post

Hope this helps.

Roger

Not sure, I'll investigate and get back to you.....
EDIT
I dont think that you can. The best solution I have is to put the picture on photobucket and then using the code button (hash key, third from right above) put a direct link to the picture between them. It should look like this.
"[ code ] photobucket link [ code / ]" (I've put spaces to stop it working)
And when done right you should get this in your post.

I have pictures but haven't found a way of posting pictures to the forum (is there one?).
I can see how to do hyperlinks - but my pictures aren't online anwhere to link to.
