Hi Phil, Thanks for extra info. I will have a look in a parts book when I next go to stores in March: we do have various mouldings there, once I know what it looks like, I'll check amongst the bits. As you say, you never know! Cheers. G. |

These were definately an option for the Series 1V and V. They are listed and shown on the accessory booklet at a cost of 17s 6d
I have seen a few Series 1V and V with them on but are very rare.
I don't give much for my chances of finding one - but you never know.

Hi Phil,
I'm not a Series 'expert', but weren't those strips fitted to the ones with a rounded bonnet line: Series I-IIIA. I have seen them on those, but can't recall the flatter bonnet line IV's & V's having them.
I think those for the earlier cars are quite rare.
