As the valve has corroded to powder and they usually cause more stress removing them anyway, I'm looking for a heater box for a Fastback. I could put it back together without a heater but would prefer to do it a bit properly.

Anyone?

Hello Stella, Yes, I seem to recall they were always a bit lukewarm, but at least you're a bit further south than some of us, however, I know it can be cold in that part of the world too
Seriously, I'm sure you've tried everything to get some heat from it; do other 'Series' owners suffer from the same problem?
You are right that the Fastback heater is really good with instant temp changes & good flow of very warm air when required
Cheers. G.

am tempted to ask... what heater.. but note you have a fastback..so perhaps you do, indeed, have a heater that works..

Mmmm, looks a bit tatty: matrix could be shot too. There are better ones than this around. I personally would give it a miss, even thought it is only £22. G.

Heater matrix here

Probably worth a try for £10 + postage.

The control valves are often on eBay, none at the moment typically! Might be worth a call to Speedy spares, they don't list one but do carry items that are not on the list.
