Does anyone out there have a plastic elbow which connects the advance/retard pipe to the distributor or know where I can obtain one?
To my amazement it is the only part missing after just refitting the engine in my Series IV which has been 'out' for nearly 10 years and has moved from UK to France.

regards
john

Spoke too soon, fuel pump to carb pipe also missing

Pretty sure that anything with a Lucas, and probably Ducellier, distributor with vacuum advance will have a similar fitting so you should be able to find something locally.

If you need the vacuum pipe itself you can get this from places that sell small/hobbyiest MIG welders. The gun liner small plastic pipe that is used to carry the MIG wire from the welder to the gun is just the right strength and stiffness.
