Just noticed in the light of day, my series IV internal door pulls are odd! Drivers side is a hinged chrome pull, whereas the near side is a padded elbow rest type. Which is correct please? Can't find anything in the existing forum articles of in any of the handbooks/maintenance manuals.
I have a 1965 Sunbeam Rapier Series IV and up til now I have never noticed this difference, but I can inform you now that on the left side (drivers side) of my Rapier the door pull is the chrome variant as is shown in the Parts List in section YW with number 157 while at the right side of my car (passenger side) there is a padded kind of arm rest which can be found in the parts list under numbers 328 and 333 and they are described there as Door arm rest (Passengers only). So my conclusion is that your intern door pull and arm rest are correct!
My pleasure to be able to help. There is also a logic in the arrangement of the door pull and arm rest because it is not ment to be that the driver is resting his arm, in your case with a RHD car your right arm, on an arm rest while this is okay when it regards the passenger. So a door pul is suffient for the driver.
