I had my springs made by the same company that "Hunter GLS" had his made, www.coilsprings.co.uk,altough i had mine lowered 40mm and slightly uprated to 130lbs, cost me £132 which included vat and delivery.

Where did you get springs or did you have them specially made and at what rate?

I have now received new front coil springs for my fastback, will be interesting to see how well fit, cheers for now.

Thanks for that, ive been trawling the net and have found that standard springs were rated at 90lbs while heavy duty ones were rated at 107lbs.Hope this might be of use to others in the future.

1922 is your man for this I think, but not seen him posting recently. It might be in the WSM? If not I might be able to ascertain from my Rootes chap. However, I'm sure there was a post about springs in the past. Might be worth a search for 'springs' on previous postings. G.

Hi,can anyone tell me what the standard coil spring rates are in lbs for the fastback,i would like to uprate them slightly but have nothing to go on, thanks guys.
