Yes, two types of plate depending on if early (Ryton) or late (Linwood)built, although early Linwood had same plate as Ryton. Engine No. should match chassis no., but likely a lot of cars will have had replacement by now. Only on later cars - post '74ish did they start stamping chassis no. on o/s/f top strut mount. Hi All I know the Ch No. is on the aluminium plate on the body near the rad but is it etched anywhere else like somewhere on the frame? It's a UK market Rapier Thanks
