Re post of 21st Feb & reply of that date; yes, if they'd be prepared to keep details/drawings/forms etc of what they've used, it could indeed be useful for others restoring Rapier's in the future & if repair sections can be obtained at a fair price, it might encourage people to do just that. G. |

If you don't get sorted I know of a pair of good second hand steel front wings that could be for sale. |

Hi Mike, I waited several months for a number panels from the said company over 4 years ago.Their panel supply problems are still clearly unresolved.Perhaps your guys who are making panels for you could tap the market which AWM are unable to service. Johnc |

Hi Glen,
The garage that's looking at the car has decided to make the panels themselves so I may not need those wings.
They've bought some new machinery and invested in some serious staff training.
A nicer bunch of petrol heads you couldn't wish to meet.
They also found out why the panels didn't arrive; Alpine W.Midlands' suppliers seem to be going through a rough patch.

Mmmm, that's not so good is it. I know they have them made to order, but that's far too long! We did have a couple of ex Honeybourne Moldings f/glass wings at the lock up, but not sure if they've been sold or not. Would have to add to my list of spares to look for when I go up in March, but that maybe too long to wait for you. I'll try and speak to electricnick and see if he can recall if they were sold or not. Cheers. G. |

Hi,
Me again.
After waiting for some repair panels from Alpine West Midlands FOR FIVE MONTHS, I thought I'd ask if anyone knew where else I could try for some repair sections.
Failing that, where would I buy fibreglass wings?
Thanks,
Mike
