| I have fastback front wing repair sections, but i'll want silly money for them! i bought them but never used them as i opted for fiberglass wings in the end. |

Re post of 21st Feb & reply of that date; yes, if they'd be prepared to keep details/drawings/forms etc of what they've used, it could indeed be useful for others restoring Rapier's in the future & if repair sections can be obtained at a fair price, it might encourage people to do just that.  G. |

Hi Mike,
I waited several months for a number panels from the said company over 4 years ago.Their panel supply problems are still clearly unresolved.Perhaps your guys who are making panels for you could tap the market which AWM are unable to service.

Hi Glen,
The garage that's looking at the car has decided to make the panels themselves so I may not need those wings.
They've bought some new machinery and invested in some serious staff training.
A nicer bunch of petrol heads you couldn't wish to meet.
They also found out why the panels didn't arrive; Alpine W.Midlands' suppliers seem to be going through a rough patch.

Mmmm, that's not so good is it. I know they have them made to order, but that's far too long!
We did have a couple of ex Honeybourne Moldings f/glass wings at the lock up, but not sure if they've been sold or not. Would have to add to my list of spares to look for when I go up in March, but that maybe too long to wait for you. I'll try and speak to electricnick and see if he can recall if they were sold or not. Cheers. G. |

Hi,
Me again.
After waiting for some repair panels from Alpine West Midlands FOR FIVE MONTHS, I thought I'd ask if anyone knew where else I could try for some repair sections.
Failing that, where would I buy fibreglass wings?
