Thank you for putting the post on Glen.

I was sad to hear the news the other day and look forward to see the tribute. Having only met Reg once (at Powderham last year) i didnt know him well at all, but he made quite an impression with me and it it clear that he was a true Gentleman with only kind and wise words to say.

I have had the email asking for club members who are able to form a parade of rapiers on the day of the funeral and am doing my best to get the day off work.

Via this forum, I'm just letting you know that long-time member (and our President) Reg Guy has died. Not all of you will know him, but many of you will. He was a member since 1981 and campaigned a Series Rapier on many rally's in the '80's & '90's.
A more formal tribute to Reg will appear shortly on here and there will be something in the next C & T, but I felt I should let the wider community know of his passing. He was in his 80's, but nevertheless it is sad to have to report. He did a lot to promote the Rapier over the years; even if converting a Fastback into a Pick-Up was not universally approved of! Regards all. Glen.
