Quite a find the old auto. Do you have reg and chassis number for the club archives? I imagine we've no record of it as it has been hidden away in a Scottish castle all these years. Glad it has yielded some decent bits. Remember club has a few s/hand items around and so do I personally - no Holbay bootlids now tho!

I probably have everything here except the block. I have....

Holbay cylinder head c/w valves & springs
Holbay camshaft
4 x flat top pistons (standard size)
Inlet manifold (Weber type)
Exhaust manifold (4 branch)
Holbay Dizzy

Was thinking of putting it all on ebay as a complete kit for someone who has a good standard block and wants to convert it to Holbay spec.

Early model Sierra springs will fit the '73 onwards type struts - I used 40% uprated front springs on both my Rapiers.
If your car is earlier I think you will have to get springs made up, or find some '73 or later front struts.

Let me know if you found one...

I'm going to do some "research"
I'm going to have a look at a humber sceptre auto center console... to see how big the whole is... and if i could fabricate something not to far of the original...

Thanks Andy!

Have been thinking about it... Could I enlarge the hole in the center console to something similar to a manual?

Great! It was the only missing part to my Holbay replica engine
You can give me a message on PM when it is ready (jan.bekkelund@gmail.com).
Can you send to me your PM adress?
Best regards Jan

its an auto so the alloy plate hs a slot rather than a square hole

autofastback

the doors are shot, it has the sill trims, the ones on mine are missing so will have to have a look in my spare trim box to see if i can match them up
i have loads of trims i didn't know where thay all went until i looked at the donor car !
