I think, but not 100% certain, that MGB brake calipers are the same unit.
They certainly look the same and those ones I've seen have the same numbers cast into the caliper body I think they use the same pad.

And they are really cheap - only 37 quid - see http://mgbhive.co.uk/brakes.html

But you really need to get them side by side to find it if you can use them.

I've bought some aftermarket seals by the meter that I just need to cut to size and glue together in the corners.
Can look the company up if you like but any company will probably have them, you can look up the shape the seal needs to have in the workshop manual.

As far as the steering wheel goes I know MOTO-Lita does bosses but in my humble opinion I think they're a little bit to expensive..

You'll need the electrics - a bit of wiring loom, a relay (attaches to front inner wing) and the steering column switch (looks like an indicator stalk).

Oh - and the steering column cowl will need an extra hole.

3rd overdrive is very handy around town - you can flick in and out without using the clutch. Handy for overtaking too

4th overdrive is like 5th in a modern car - it reduces noise and saves on petrol.

Obviously if you are planning on launching at 6000 rpm on a regular basis - it's probably best not to!

Apologies for the stupid question but...

What else besides the gearbox do I need to convert the car to overdrive?
