I had the same problem with the Hunter. The repair panel was much smaller than the area I needed to cover on one side. Luckily I found someone breaking a Mk3 Sceptre with good inner arches.

Pete (petespops) is also breaking a Singer Vogue. Might be worth taking a look when you go to collect the axle, if repair panels for the rear shock mounts aren't available.

I'm assuming that they are in ok condition but it's worth asking.

Building the 'Mark II' fastback Rapier ('Arrocuda').

I 've seen your posts when looking for these..
Great job by the way!

Yes It would be very difficult.. But I've already cut one side out,
I think repairing the inner wheel well wouldn't be that difficult, 2 pieces should do it, but than I can only re-use the smallest reinforcement part of the strut top.. as this is the only one not rotten..
I was hoping to either find a replacement (probably not going to happen), or try to repair what's left of the larger reinforcement panel..

I'l take a picture of it next week, both sides are similar to what yours used to be..

Hi Thomas, I'm assuming you mean top strut mounts as I had to repair on mine (see thread below)

The repair panels that are occasionally on ebay are the large panels but then you also need an inner panel with 2 folded flanges and then a much thicker reinforced piece that provides the strength. You can see the different pieces in the pictures. I was lucky enough to have a 2nd pair of repair panels to make the inner panels and then salvage the thick piece off the car, it should be ok. I would think these panels would be quite tricky to make from scratch.

When doing some minor clean up one the fastback we found some very serious rust on the rear shock mounts..

There's not much left of it, so are there any repair panels available?
Or do I need to make these myself.
Any suggestions?
