Hi, I tried to contact the seller to get more info as per his 'description'. A week later still no 'quick response'. I also noticed his other items are four other historic cars on classified ads. hmm. could be a dealer?

I met the chap who sold it a few weeks back & he confirmed it was sold to a chap in Belgium, (I take it we are looking at HMP 444L?) didn't check link! I guess it is a case of hoping to make a quick profit , or it is not what he really wanted?? . So, I think on this occasion it is a genuine sale, well not a scam anyway! Cheers. G.

I wondered that too but the car doesn't show up in the current seller's recent purchases. Having said that of course, it could be 100% genuine but what struck me was that the pictures are the same as previously used - something that scammers sometimes do. Still, the car is well known in the community, caveat emptor etc etc

Thought I'd seen it before..... One thing thats a bit iffy is lack of information in the listing, otherwise it could be the guy who won it and he's just in for a bit of profiteering.
